Target audience
Now that we have chosen our genre, we need to decide on a target audience.
After doing some research we have decided that our target audience is young adults. This is because when we asked people what their favourite genre of film was, most of the young adults said that it was action/thriller. Since we are making an action thriller this gives us our target audience.
We then decided to ask 30 different people aged between 18-25
what their favourite genre of film was and here are the results:
Action: 10
Thriller: 10
Romantic: 2
Comedy: 2
Horror: 5
Other: 1
Therefore showing us that our target audience is 18-25 year olds.
