Trailer Analysis: In Time
'In Time' is a dystopian action/sci-fi film created in October 2011.
The characters in the film are running on time, which acts as their money. Rich people have lots of time, poor people do not. This film gave us inspiration for our trailer as we have based our film on the idea of a realistic dystopia and it challenges the usual codes and conventions that you would see in that genre. Our trailer is based on the question 'what if?' which makes the audience actually think about if they were in that situation, which is similar to having time for money. This is what we wanted to do with our trailer, make the audience think and feel as if they are actually in it, leaving them wanting to know more.
